Omnirig/RS-BA1/Log4OM

Post by M6NRX »

Hi,

Having passed my Foundation less than a month ago, I have been tasked with getting the software side of the shack up and running. Currently everything runs well, but separately, and I'd like to know how to integrate LOG4OM with Omnirig, as my other half assures me that This Must Be Done. His ultimate plan is to link that to the RS-BA1 software that remotely runs the IC7300, and have everything running from the computer, either here or away.

So.

Omnirig requires the C-IV link to be connected. LOG4OM and RS-BA1 need the C-IV link to be unconnected.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance,

Sarah

Just the last leg to go.....

Please be aware that you cannot share a com port between two programs unless:

1. You use a virtual serial port

2. Use programs that all use Omnirig e.g. Log4om, CW skimmer, Bandmaster, SDR-Radio consul etc etc etc - The Icom software does not use Omnirig
