60m (5MHz) - Memory Reminder - choice of mode

Post by M0KCP »

Hi

The Memory Reminder feature works very well and is a joy to use. I assume that the Band Plan files are used to determine the mode selected? For instance, recalling a memory of 5262 kHz (UK CW QRP frequency) sets the mode to CW. Recalling the US CW spot frequency of 5373 kHz sets the mode to USB. After your previous advice, I have adjusted my Band Plan files to work nicely with CW in 60m.. so I guess the mode is picked up from another set of files? Ultimately, I just want the mode to remain CW for all my CW frequences.

Thanks in advance for the help.

OK I get it. There is a mode associated with the frequencies in the band plan file. I thought L4OM was picking up the file I renamed
_user
. It seems to be picking up the data from the file

Anway, its fixed now. I think 60m is rather unsual as it has very littl eparity with band plans for other territories. Also, the UK 60m band plan doesn't really have any modes associated with all the bandlets.

Anway, thanks for a great app.
