Log4OM Ver 2.9, Win10 Pro , TQSL Ver 2.5.6 beta
I performed a complete download of my LoTW QSLs from the beginning date of my logbook (Mar 1, 2011) and later that day I was working FT8 and using JTAlert(Ver 2.16.13) and ran a Rebuild Alert database function. The results was I had lost all West Virginia contacts and upon further inspection determined that all WV in the state column of my log was now VA. I assumed it was a glitch of some sort and I installed a backup copy of my logbook and on review all was fine. So being inquisitive I performed the LoTW download again and got the same results all WV was changed to VA in the state column. Any suggestions on what is the problem? TQSL ? Log4OM?
As info: log contains 36,121 contacts of which 298 are WV

Did you do a direct download from LOTW or did you first download to an ADIF and then import that ADIF into Log4OM V2?
Take a look at this thread about similar occurances related to WV Q's being changed to VA. I've had the same happen to me with import from another ADIF file.
You can also do a bulk update/change from VA to WV as well.

This was a direct download in Log4OM QSL manager. Am I correct in thinking that TQSL is not involved in the download process??

Correct, via TQSL it´s only at upload. Download works with your Login from the LotW website
with the correct password and your correct station location. Please check that you not use
special characters in your password (e.g: §"!)(&/$% or others). If you use some for your login
to the LotW website login there and change the pwd ...

No special characters in my password it is alpha numeric but no special characters.
Re: Log4OM Version 2 -LoTW download Problem
Well this hasn't fixed itself and since TQSL is not involved in the download process that pretty much narrows it down to Log4OM doing something strange, right?

Please email me a full support request including ADIF so that I can replicate your set up and see what is wrong.
I have just uploaded to LOTW ok using Log4om 2.9.0.0 so something amiss with your set up
