Try running log4om and Omnirig to 'Run as an administrator' it might be Windows security affecting it

Sorry Terry, just noticed your latest post on this subject (for some reason it didn't tell there had been a reply).

I haven't tried a different radio.

Hi Terry,

I do run Thetis, Omnirig and Log4OMv2 all in admin mode.

This problem has suddenly re-appeared (maybe due to a Windows update I received). I have attached an image showing the missing data. The rig+Omnirig+Log4OM are obviously talking to each other as the frequencies of the VFOs at the top of this image change with the frequency on the rig, and also can change the rig frequency. The 'Band' value does not change with the rig. I was not in FM mode either!
Where are the frequency boxes at the bottom of this image derived from? It seems strange to me that it is not the same source as those at the top of the window.

1. What a poor choice of name for software! Thetis was a submarine that sank in1939 and claimed 96 lives, the first Thetis also sunk killing all the crew!

2. I guess your using some sort of VSP have you checked it's not that?

3. Have you tried a CLEAN install of Log4om from a fresh download

5. What version of .net framework is installed on your pc?

6. What is the Omnirig version number?

I don't know what VSP means.
A clean install did not help.
C:\Windows\System32\Tasks\Microsoft\Windows\.NET Framework\.NET Framework NGEN v4.0.30319 64 Critical is installed.
Omnirig 1.19

Hope that information helps. I have re-booted the computer (Win10 64 bit) and the rig several times to no avail.

OK first thing to do is update the Widows .net framework because its well out of date, current version is 4.8.xxxxx

Having restarted the PC after updating let me know the result

I tried to install .NET Framework4.8 but it refused saying v4.8 or later was already installed. So I must have found an old version when I earlier reported v4.0.xxx

The only other things I can suspect are either the Thetis connection or the VSP (ComOcom) connection, have you reinstalled them?

Try a lower Baud rate like 19200
