Hello all
I imported a log from another program, through adif of course.
The QSL manager is imported, but I don't really know where...
On the Wiorked B4 screen, the manager shows in the "QSL via" column, but on the Info screen (F2), it does not show inthe "QSL via" box...
See attached.
What is wrong ?

Manager import
Re: Manager import
No reply ?
Also, how come the "QSL via" column in the recent QSO window does not show the QSL via of the Info window (F2)
Why are there 2 "QSL via" fields that do not "communicate" ?

Re: Manager import
Paul,
Did you take the time to look at the grid setup you have in place for the Recent QSOs (F7) tab on your Main UI?
You can tic or untic to have that column appear if you like ... or not.

Re: Manager import
Yes, I have looked at that, but this is not my question....
In your example, I can tick the column "QSL via" to appear in the Recent QSO window (F7)
In the info windwo (F7) there is a field called QSL via... but it does not show the info from the F7 screen.
Same name, but different field ?
These 2 fields should be the same, and show the same info...

Re: Manager import
The f7 display is historic info whereas the input window is waiting for input

Re: Manager import
fair enough, but it is the same info... Should be the same field...
If input somewhere, should show on the other side... Or even better, the two fields should be the same, not 2 different fields with the same name...

Re: Manager import
No its not necessarily the same because since your last QSO he might have changed QSL method or manager and in the example you provide this was clearly true because I have just tried OA9DVK and the QSL via information collected from the QRZ lookup is different - See below
My guess is that the on line lookup your using does not include the same info that QRZ does - Remember these fields are filled from the on line look up not the historic worked before data because things change over time.

Re: Manager import
Thanks for info Terry, but you still do not reply to my question.
2 different fields are called the same (QSL via), but do not show the same info.
I can understand that one is imported from qrz.com, but since it is the same info, it should be repeated in the "other" QSL via".
If date is retrieved from qrz.com, why is not copied to both fields ?

Re: Manager import
and when a label is printed, it will not copy what you showed in your reply.
If I want a QSL manager to show on the label, where should I input that info ?
The idea that info does change is correct, but in 99% of the cases it does not. It would be a lot lot simpler if the info was retrieved from previous QSO automatically, but changeable in case of new and different info appears.
Just my 2 cents (or 2 pence...)

Re: Manager import
Your referring to the WORKED BEFORE grid which displays old/historic data!F6EXV wrote: ↑18 Jan 2021, 15:39 Thanks for info Terry, but you still do not reply to my question.

Since you recorded those QSO'S, including the QSL VIA data, the other station has changed the QSL VIA data on QRZ - So it's different!
WB4 records are your logbook entries Log4om will not change data recorded sometimes years before because it is unlikely to be current data!
