I know it is not a real new issue and sow the post and replay to solve the single frequency display for ic-7800 and Omnirig given to Danny AH6FX/W4.
The solution seemed to be to change omnirig IC7800.ini file to IC7800v3.ini file, but in Denny's case was not applyble since his rig did not have last firmware.
In my case IC-7800 has V3.1 firmware (last one released) and after the change to IC7800V3.ini the radio results "offline" and I lost completely CAT control.
WSJT and CWskimmer which were sharing CAT control with the rig do not also communicate anymore with OMNIRIG.
LOG4OM is V2.13.0.0
OMNIRIG V1.19
Windows 10 64 bits
What I wonder if anybody was able to solve this problem and if there is a IC7800xx.ini file different from the V3 I found on the OMNIRIG web page.

Do you have all of those programs installed to 'Run as an administrator' without that Omnirig cannot multithread and therefore cannot be shared by multiple programs

Terry,
When I run OMNIRIG with Administrator rights I get in CWSkimmer an Address violation error and it quits working.
For this reason I have not given to Omnirig administrator rigths.

For multithreading to work in Omnirig ALL programs sharing Omnirig must be 'Run as an administrator' this includes CWSkimmer
The reason CWSkimmer threw up an error was because it could not access Omnirig's multithreading, because CWSkimmer was not being run as an administrator.

Terry,
I was able to solve the CWskimmer Address violation by uninstall, cleanig the libs and reistalling CWskimmer (which automatically install Omnirig 1.6) deleting omnirig 1.6 and istalling omnirig v1.9.
Now all my programs have admi right and the situation changed a little :
As You can see from included picture the LOG4OM CAT with IC-7800V3 seems sort of work : the rig is not seen as offline , the frequency is that of the opening of the program and all the followings frequency changes are not seen. Frequency seems locked to the first one.
I opened the OMNIRIG client program and saw many " rig not responding" messages which could explain
this behavior. Also In CWskimmer was registere the original frequency without any frequency change.
Beside, also with this ini file, I only see main frequecy displayed in LOG4OM.

Have you tried a factory reset of the 7800?

So now everything works in all programs but no display of second VFO - Correct?

Re: IC-7800 and omnirig LOG4OM Display only 1 freq.
Yes correct, but I was forced to go back to Ic-7800.ini since Omnirig after the initial frequency display completely lost rig control.

Marco,
Then I have to suspect the Omnirig ini file is the issue, assuming that you have downloaded and installed the latest ini files from DXAtlas/Omnirig? so perhaps contact Alex the Omnirig developer for advice.
Let us know how you get on please
