LOTW upload

Post by pa3adu »

hi,
Installed the new version 2.15.0.0 and since I have problems with the LOTW uploading via the QSL manager. Before this update, the uploading worked fine. I checked the settings in the external services and they look unchanged and the path to my tqsl is correct.

Any suggestions?

Have you tried a direct tqsl upload?

What error message do you see in QSL manager?

have not yet tried a direct upload Terry.
error message in QSL manager:

INFO: ADIF File created successfully.
INFO: TQSL Version 2.5.1
No private TQSL Password set
Executing TQSL with upload
Messages from LOTW:
TQSL Version 2.5.1 [v2.5.1]
Final Status: Command Syntax Error(10)
Command syntax error
LOTW END

the message "No private TQSL Password set" is confusing for me. The manual says that "Not normally used".
I tried a tqsl private password but no luck (different error message)

You need to open TQSL on your PC and it should say there is an update, follow the instructions.

I did state that on this release a TQSL update is required see-- viewtopic.php?f=1&t=6808

Hello Terry,

I had the same issue on my side and had to update TQSL.
Afterwhat I faced to a second issue about the "station location" configuration is TQSL. In fact I was using "French acute accent" in the name of the location. That was working for TQSL in standalone but not thru Log4om.

My location was described as "Domicile Méré" then I changed it to "Domicile Mere" and that was OK. That was not causing any issue with previous Log4om versions.

If it can help other users...

Thank you for the strong support and for this very nice software !!

I have updated LotW to 2.15.0.0. I've updated TQSL to 2.5.8. I'm having the same problem that I had before. I select the QSOs that I want to upload to LotW, press upload, and the message I get is:

INFO: ADIF File created successfully.
INFO: TQSL Version 2.5.8
Executing TQSL with upload

And then it hangs. Any help would be very much appreciated.
