How can I find those that could have been modified ?

I can't advise about windows issues! but check what updates have been done to see the changes then find the irelevent drivers and reinstall them.

I have tried again to uninstall and reinstall. Still no edit (which is critical for a proper use of Log4OM)
The very strange thing is the desktop icon is not the normal one.
How can this happen ?

Once I re-organized my screens (some were #1, were changed after my screen problem), I have now fully recovered both the icon and the edit window !
So problem solved !

so after all of that it was a local graphics issue.
