Re: CSV export
Where/how are you exporting the file from and what is incorrect - your screen shot is too small for me to read even on my 32 inch monitor!

Re: CSV export
Sorry I'm late in replying Terry
So the problem is in the Carriage return-Line feed (CR-LF) characters found at the end of the first two lines of each exported record.
The csv file should have only one cr-lf at the end of the record as its component fields must be separated by;
This "error" only happens if I export the file asking for all the data base fields, if I ask for only a part of the fields the file is correct.
I am attaching the two files:
1- all the fields of the database of some records
2- only some fields of the database of the same records
where you can see the difference in the formatting of the two files
Thanks for the attention

Re: CSV export
You still failed to say where and how in Log4OM you are exporting the CSV from?

Re: CSV export
No it was not obvious because there are a few places the export can be done, However I am refereeing this to Lele because clearly something is not working for you although I dont have an issue using the latest version of Excel.
What software are you opening the file with, notepad?

Re: CSV export
Thanks,
I use the "notepad++" program to view the cvs (an advanced editor that I started using in the office when I was writing programs) and the latest release libreoffice program to create the excel file.
I also brought the file to a pc that has office 2019, but the excel sheet is created exactly the same as that of libreoffice
Thanks
