Yesterday, I started up V2. The program opened normally but all the user settings were all unfilled. I filled them all in but am having problems with UDP connections. WSJT-X complains:
error message client exception message format UDP server 127.0.0.1:2237
In the user's guide, I have copied the top entry on the left box. I think that should be the only entry to receive QSOs from WSJT-X.
Suggestions please.
UDP inbound connection
Re: UDP inbound connection
Hello K0AY,
Look on the manual on page 168. Maybe this will help.

Re: UDP inbound connection
Patrick...
Many thanks for your help. When I type in the entry as shown in the user manual the press the + at the right, nothing gets transferred to the box below as shown below. Interesting that my user manual stipulates [UDP_INBOUND] {JTMESSAGE[ 2237] WSJT DIRECT however I have the same problem that pressing the+ on the right does not transfer the entry to the box below.

Re: UDP inbound connection
Hi,
(1) Normally you have to enter your port number first.
(2) Then give a name to that connection and (3) then type the service.
When that's all done, (4) press the plus (+) sign.
If everything was entered correctly, you should see entered data in the bottom box at UDP Inbound connections.
This is how I did it in version 2.17.0.0
