Solar Updates

Post by K5CKS »

My solar conditions doesn't appear to be updating correctly. The A Index was 45 yesterday and is back down to 6 this morning according to two other sources. But my solar report still says A:45 and it doesn't update from the menu selection. Any ideas?
Thanks!

On my side it´s the same. External sources say A = 6 and Log4OM said A = 45

Our solar data comes from NOAA at ftp://ftp.swpc.noaa.gov/pub/latest/DSD.txt and https://services.swpc.noaa.gov/json/sol ... cycle.json

So the information we display is dependent on the NOAA data and graphs are plotted using Voacap so if NOAA are incorrect or their ftp site fails its beyond our control.

Thank you so much for clarifying that Terry. I now understand where the issue may be. Usually it is very reliable but today it is acting strange. As usual you are the man with the answers!
