I need some help getting LOG4OM talking to my FT1000mp via CAT control using Omnirig.
The port is configured in Windows 10, and matching settings in Log4om (Omnirig plugin).
Omnirig Verify (using the FT1000MP RigIni file) shows all commands working, no errors
FT1000MP Cat test script detects the rig on the specified port, no issues.
Correct USB to db9 Technofix cable and Silabs driver installed.
Despite all tests showing the connection is working, I have never seen the CAT light come on the FT1000MP.
I've tried several baud rates from 4800 - 14,400
I've pretty much come to the end of ideas / things to try - still not working.
Any help much appreciated.

Re: Cat control of FT1000MP
Did you try
A factory reset of the Yaesu
A different cable using an FTDI chip - The silicon labs ones are famous for being poor Chinese clones and not working
Turning of anti virus and firewalls

Ok, tried those and still not connecting.
As a test, I installed another logging program (Swisslog), configured CAT setting the same, no change in driver etc and it connected immediately, CAT light is flashing!
No idea what's going on.
Cheers.
