'Always use this App' popup when using web lookup button

Hi,
I can't seem to get my computer to remember the app it needs to use when the 'web lookup' button (Globe Icon) is pressed to look up a call sign from QRZ from the main screen of L4OM.
Each time I want to view the resulting page in a browser I have to click inside the annoying windows pop up for it to use Chrome, I have always ticked the 'use this app' box in the pop up each time but it's like L4OM is requesting something afresh to be opened each time or a protocol I'm not seeing.
I appreciate this might not be a L4OM issue at all but I have looked through all the available apps to check defaults and any that I can see that would open any browser are all set to Chrome as default.
I don't seem to have this issue with another time I open a browser link from other programs so wondered is this normal or does anyone have the issue and resolution?
Anyone any ideas please?
