Cluster - Filter FT8 Spots

Post by HB9VQQ »

Would it make sense to filter Cluster Spots for the known FT(x) frequency segments on each Band when "Filters - Exclude FT(x)" is selected?

I cant see the frequency because the screen shot is to small but I am willing to bet its outside the special FT8 frequencies below

It is 28076 well within the 2kHz of the FT8 segment. I see you are not looking at a range, only at a single fixed frequency. If the reported Spot is not exactly on that frequency, but still within the FT8(x) segment it's a miss.

You can check PSKReporter for the reported frequencies, most are outside of the "nominal" FT(x) frequencies. I think it would work better if you look at a range instead of a single frequency.

I'll check. We can use actual bandplan ranges or add a +- tolerance.
I'll check
