Q65 Logging Issue

Post by WT0DX »

I am having a (new) issue logging Q65 contacts. My user configs were updated previously per my thread topic, and worked a year ago... viewtopic.php?f=33&t=6373&p=34364&hilit=Q65#p34364

I use the WSJT-X, JTAlert and Log4OM combination without any other issues.

However, today a Q65 contact was logged as FST4, not Q65. Also, JTAlert generated an error "unable to confirm QSO logged". I was then able to go into the contact and edit it for Q65 (this mode was on the drop down list).

In looking at the issue more closely, I found that if I used the drop down menu in the main/manual logging area, Q65 is not listed as an option, only Q15 - which makes me believe that at least part of the logging program is not using my modelist_user.csv file? (I see that the default modelist.csv does not have Q65 included.)

Other thoughts... Maybe my Q65 entry into the modelist_user.csv is incorrect? I have Q65;Q65;Q65. Or something has changed with JTAlert that is causing this issue?

WSJT-X 2.5.4
JTAlert 2.51.4
Log4OM 2.22.0.0 and 2.23.0.0
Windows 10

Curiously, I am now seeing the exact same problem! I also inserted Q65 into the mode list but still unable to upload Q65 QSO's to LOTW.....Watching this thread with interest.

Tim,

Did you send the support request package to Lele (IW3HMH) at his e-mail address noted in QRZ?

Also, see this post, that characterizes the issue somewhat differently.

Terry responded that he would look into the issue...
