Hello,
Does anyone use Log'OM's CW Keyer with the FT101d?
here it tells me :
"A device attached to the system is not working properly".
That said, I'm not sure the FTdx101 uses a K1EL Keyer?
Do you have any info on this subject?
Thanks

Re: Keyer with FTdx101D
For the Log4OM keyer to work you either need to have a K1EL Winkeyer interface for normal physical radios or if using an Expert Electronics SunSDR use the special TCI interface.
The Winkeyer interface also functions with Flexradio 6000 series SDR radios without a Winkeyer interface due to their built in Winkeyer emulation in software.
Mainline hardware radios radios from Icom, Yaesu and Kenwood do not have a built in Winkeyer, they do have an electronic keyer but at this time Log4OM does not support com port keying so they wont function.

Ok Terry it's clear
a hope to see Log4OM using the internal keyer of Yaesu and others?
Thanks

Since i am a ham i use CW at the manual way. That means i´m using my fingers and my brain. Winkey makes contesting
easier but for all other kinds of CW keying the best way is the manual one ....

73´s .. Juergen ... ALT-512 SDR (10W) , 50 m random wire at SG-211 autotuner, 2 x Xiegu G90 (20W HF TRX) one as portable Radio. Also TS-790E (40 W) for VHF/UHF with X-50 vertical and Duoband 4-Element LPDA.
Re: Keyer with FTdx101D
Yes thank you Juergen, but that's not my question,
you do as you want but your answer has nothing to do with my question and is therefore of no use ...
