LOTW Upload

Post by w9mdb »

The LOTW Upload in V2 is far too many clicks compared to V1 and horribly non-intuitive.

#1 It doesn't remember the Sent status or Sent checkbox that one uses on every upload (Requested in my case).
#2 Apparently the Sent status field isn't indexed as the search is very slow
#3 Having to click Select/deselect, then Uplaod, then another Upload button is overkill.

It should be a one-button shot. Remember the Sent/Requested settings, automatically select all, and the Upload Selected QSO should do what it says and be done with it.

Mike,

You must not have tried the "Select Required" button for uploading Q's ?? Give that a try and see if that will remove one of your keystrokes.

What are your settings in the Confirmations screen ? Mine was set to "Requested" first and auto upload don´t
working. Now set it to No/No and all looks fine. Have you enabled Auto Upload on Close for LotW in the external
services ?

Hello Juergen, can you explain to me in that configuration what does that mean? if by default I set lotw sent = yes and rcvd = yes what happens?
