I may have found why my Log4OM sometimes misbehaves...
On my daily net, using Net Control, closing the net should have resulted in the callsigns auto saving, one by one. It stalled and needed the program completely closing both yesterday and today. After the net today, I had a single QSO and that didn’t auto fill details. The likely reason was the internet connection had failed (or become very slow) after initially starting the program.
This problem would be largely solved by prioritising the looking up of data, which if you use QRZ.com gives that priority over your own local data from previous QSOs and Net Control. In fact the Net Control name and QTH is ignored when the log is updated and QRZ lookup is enabled. Also a “time out” to avoid the freezing while trying to fetch external data should help too.
