IOTA Reference?

Post by PA7RA »

Hello,
I am working on my IOTA score and now I have filtered my LOG4OM with award Filter and then AF.
then I should get all Iotas that are in AF I thought.
What is my surprise
see the screenshot I sent along with this message.
I circled it in red
AN AS and an AN now the question is how can I change these when it comes to VK0EK and 8Q7LA have I done something wrong or is this a bug in LOG4OM?
Thanks for the help
regards
Rien, PA7RA

Not saying it's not a bug but most times it's an entry error

Open the qso and check the awards tab details

Hi Terry,

I made a screenshot of the award tab
and there it says WAC@AF
I think that's the problem, but how can I change it?
thanks for the quick response i'm learning more and more about this great software.

Delete to existing AF reference and then allocate the correct reference - Save and apply

Hi Terry.

I'm trying to change the continent but LOG4OM still sets 8Q7LA back to continent AF!
What am I doing wrong?
I'll do it step by step so maybe you can see where I'm going wrong?
1. Awards Refs.
2. click on WAC@AF and on the minus sign to delete.
3.add UNLISTEND reference
4. Reference CODE I type AS and click on the checkmark
5 WAC@AS is now in the list!
6 I click on Save and exit.
When I open the qso again and then look in Award Refence it says WAC@AF again and also WAC@AS
I hope it's a bit clear but I can't get this right

Thank you Greeting

Rien,

Try same steps again, but also ADD a tap on the little diskette symbol to save and then tap the Green Checkmark to save overall.

Also in the Award statistics window go to the maintenance tab and rebuild the statistics

Thanks for the tips unfortunately none of them work VK0EK just stays on AF as a continent
Don't understand what's going wrong.
I deleted the qso and manually re-entered it in LOG4OM but LOG4OM grabs WAC@AF directly instead of WAC@AN
8Q7LA has disappeared from the list, but I don't know how this happened.

I am so confused about this

The heading says an issue with IOTA but you keep displaying a Worked all continents award

You first refer to 8Q7LA which is IOTA@AS-013 the Maldives and then you change to VK0EK which is Heard Island IOTA@AN-003 but your still refering to the Worked all Continents award, not IOTA?

Explain again please because after 25 yours of producing software I am realy confused!

I have both those calls correctly displayed in IOTA see below
