Built-in Cluster

Post by hb9ryz »

Hi All
Why does it take so long to get the cluster information on screen?
In the old version v1.40 were the cluster information faster on the screen.
How can I force this telnet cluster command SHOW/DX 100 when Log4OM starts?

Did I miss some cluster settings?

VE7CC is fine there must be something slowing it down, perhaps you could let us have your logfile?

Well according to your log file it took 5 seconds to load which is not long when you consider that it also has to do a lookup and obtain data for the propogation forecasts - 1 second to connect to VE7CC and 4 seconds to collate all of the data and display it?

Dont forget all version 1 used to do was open and display the spots, no geomagnetic data or anything else so perhaps the time penalty is acceptable if you consider that?

Hi Terry
Thanks for analyzing my logfile.

But if I start Log4OM v2.2.0 and go to Cluster, the cluster windows is empty.
How can I force the telnet command "SHOW/DX 100" at start-up. If I do this command in the Cluster Telnet mode, all the spots appears quick in the window.

Open Telnet window, disconnect the cluster. Search for the cluster entry in the list and hit the edit button.
Now you can set other commands to the file. Dont forget to save it.
