Hi all, i'm new to the software, switched from HRD v5. My first impression is that LOG4OM V2 is a great tool.
Beside the fact that I'm still exploring it I found that I wasn't able to exclude some specific frequencies. I'd like the cluster not to show FT8/FT4 spots which are mostly predominant on certain bands and certain times of the day. I looked for a solution both in the manual and in the forum with no success.
Any solution? Hint, suggestion?

How to filter (exclude) specific frequencies
Re: How to filter (exclude) specific frequencies
Hi Max from Max
read this previous Topic:

you will find the correct settings for VE7CC.

Re: How to filter (exclude) specific frequencies
Max thanks for reply. Although the set/ft seems to work when I use only the cluster, if I enable the supercluster the spots on FT frequencies shows up again 'cause are reported as CW. This is the reason why I'd like a frequency filter notched on a specific one.

Re: How to filter (exclude) specific frequencies
sure Max,
if you use the Superclaster add the qso of VE7CC with those of HRDLog and the spots in FTx reappear.
Filters work only with VE7CC. You must only use VE7CC.

Re: How to filter (exclude) specific frequencies
Max I switched to VE7CC but unfortunately the filter is not working properly, although I disable supercluster I can see spots on 10136 which in certain days flood my cluster screen.
I can see that spots appear though there is FT8 (or 4) in the notes.
I wish I could filter frequencies to solve the issue.

Use a combination of the mode and band filters in log4om

Re: How to filter (exclude) specific frequencies
Terry,
thanks but is not what i mean. My need is to filter a specific frequency and not a band. I want to exlude all the FT8 frequencied in all the bands, i.e. 3.573 Mhz, 7.074 Mhz, 10.136 Mhz and so on.

Re: How to filter (exclude) specific frequencies
Then you will need either to send a filter to the cluster to exclude those frequencies or edit the Log4OM bandplan_r1.xml bandplan
