Grid Statistics?

Post by G0OFE1 »

Having another look at LOG4OM after quite a while, to see how grid stats support is improving.

Good to see that grids are parsed to 4 characters for listing, so that is an improvement. Though I see that a grid is counted more than once(!!!) if you work the same grid but in two different DXCCs.

Not logical at all. Any way of fixing this?

Also, I was looking for where we can see grid totals. I did look here:
log4om stats.JPG
log4om stats.JPG (94.55 KiB) Viewed 1567 times
but I cant find a dropdown for "Grid" or "VUCC" which is what the Americans term it for grid chasing.

Am I missing something, or is there no way to totalise the number of grids worked/confirmed?

I'm talking about grid square totals.

I circled the "dxcc" bit as I was indicating where I was looking.. i.e. the drop down menu that lists the available awards.
I'm looking for Worked Grid totals that one can bring up in the Statistics tab.

Can this still not be done yet?

Ah the DXCC led me down the wrong path!

No at this time this "still" cant be done, however you could contact Clause our award manager and request that VUCC be added and we will eventually add a grids totals to the View/Statistics/grid Statistics window.

I think that Gridtracker shows what you require also and that software integrates with Log4OM so that could be worth a look.

Contact Claus via the awards thread on this forum.
