QSO DATE AND TIME FORMAT

Post by WA1SXK »

I imported my Log ADIF from V1 to V2 and noticed that my QSO dates and QSO times are now combined under one label called
"QSO Date".

Is this a new standard that I am not familiar with to combine both the QSO date and time under one label heading all in one column? I find the combined viewing of both date and time of my QSOs in one row somewhat of a large set of characters to view.

In V1, the date and time were listed with sperate labels and columns.

To be specific the "QSO Date" heading has nothing to do with the QSO time?
Open for new thought's on this new combined format in V2.

Eric,

That has been the format since Day 1 of the V2 release. We chatted about it early on in Skype amongst the Alpha Team, but can't recall reason for combination. Could be related to the new ADIF standard that Lele is following.

I'm sure Lele or Terry will chime in with more data for you.
