Backup of Table edits

Post by ei3gd »

Hello team,
I'm loving this wonderful program, many thanks to all developers! Donation made.

I recently switched PC and needed to re-load the program.
Using the config.json file I was able to recover most of my personal settings.
However it did not recover my fine-tuning changes such as Logbook table edits etc.

Is it possible to capture these edits somewhere for recovery purposes?

Thanks
Ray

In the user folder you will see a number of 'Layout' files marked 'User' copy them all across to the same folder in the new installation

Help/Open config folder click the 'USER' folder, therein are layout files

C:\Users\YOUR USER NAME\AppData\Roaming\Log4OM2\user

The other person clearly already found the folder because he used the config file but is that enough detail for you?
