My WSJTX-JTalert-Log4OM setup

Post by W4GHV »

For some reason my setup to WSJTX & JTALERT stopped working.
After much experimenting this is what I have working.
Comments/improvements please!

WSJTX normal 2237 setup

JTALERT normal Enable logging, 2237
and
last QSO API enable port 2236 include adif header

Log4OM
UDP_INBOUND ADIF_MESSAGE 2236 JTALERT

Why WSJTX did not like the Log4OM port 2237 escapes me.

Bo,

Just doing a quick glance at your UDP Port values and looking at the suggested setup configurations in our current User Guide ... I'm not seeing a match.

Check out the current User Guide starting on Page 201. It starts with a direct connection between WSJTX and/or JTDX and Log4OM2. Then steps are noted when you add JTAlert into the mix.
