Hello, I wanted to ask you if the following fields, can be added to the satellites.csv file "Satellite Mode" ; "Band"; "Mode"; "TX Freq"; "RX Band" and have it autocomplete:
DIWATA-2,PO-101;UV;70cm;FM;437500;2m
Saudi-OSCAR 50;SO-50;VU;2m;FM;145550;70cm
AMSAT-OSCAR-91;AO-91;UV;70cm;FM;435550;2m
AMSAT-OSCAR-92;AO-92;UV;70cm;FM;435550;2m
ARISS;ARISS;VU;2m;FM;145990;70cm
Mainly for those of us who manually complete each satellite qso.

Re: Satellite log manually
73´s .. Juergen ... ALT-512 SDR (10W) , 50 m random wire at SG-211 autotuner, 2 x Xiegu G90 (20W HF TRX) one as portable Radio. Also TS-790E (40 W) for VHF/UHF with X-50 vertical and Duoband 4-Element LPDA.
Re: Satellite log manually
DIWATA-2,PO-101 is sadly not in the log4om "satellites.csv". Not sure what to enter there to make it LOTW conform.
Also in the satmodelist.txt the mode "V" is missing for APRS and PKT QSO via ARISS. I modified the mode by hand.
Edit:
For the QRGs: I also add both QRGs for every QSO manually. Would be a nice feature to have the SAT QRGs pre-filled after one chose a SAT in LOG4OM.
Edit 2:
I manually added Diwata-2;PO-101 to the "satellites.csv". Let's see what happens on LOTW.

Re: Satellite log manually
Very nice. I checked also and seems to be good.
I also added "UVSQ-SAT;UVSQ" to the "satellites.csv" now as a new SAT which I worked today.

Frequencies will be filled only when CAT is connected. Otherwise you have to entering the
frequencies by hand.

Re: Satellite log manually
Yes sure. But the feature request ist to pre-fill the QRGs in Log4OM based on the table. Every SAT has a fixed QRG, so that would be technically possible. I would put all the QRGs and default modes into the table if that is needed.

Cheers Terry.
I also found: https://forum.log4om.com/viewtopic.php? ... 192#p38192
That is pretty much also our approach.
Here is also an old topic from 2018: https://forum.log4om.com/viewtopic.php? ... =satellite with the same idea.
