Hello at Log4OM forum,
After upgrading to Log4OMV2 to ver. 2.18.0.0 uploading to LoTW no longer works. I get the error message 'ADIF file not found on path' se attached screenshot. The 'Temp LoTW path' is working and has been used several years. The file named 'LOTW_UPLOAD_20220101213011.adi' cannot be found on my PC.
The Log4OMV2 config (see screenshot) from the earlier Log4OMV2 version is used in this new ver. 2.18.0.0.
Upload to eQsl works.
TQSL.exe has been updated. TQSL path in config is consistent with the path in the Log4OMV2 config.
Can anyone clarify on this so I again can upload to LoTW from Log4OMV2.
Brgds and Happy New Year
Peter

Re: Log4OMV2 ver. 2.18.0.0 cannot upload to LoTW
Peter,
Can you see the "upload" file at that folder location if you look using your file manager or the Windows File Explorer?
I was just looking at my installation trying to come up with hint/help for you.
Maybe if you just use the 'folder' button and browse for a folder and just reset to the same folder you have in the field and save and give another try to do a manual LOTW upload.
Just curious what was your prior version of Log4OM V2?

Re: Log4OMV2 ver. 2.18.0.0 cannot upload to LoTW
Hello KI5IO and Happy New Year,
Thank you for your response.
I have early in my troubleshooting checked that folder and found that my new ver. 2.18.0.0 apparently does not generate and save an upload ADIF-filen in his folder. The last file, see attached, is from January 1, 2021 and that file was generated with the earlier version (2.16.0.0) of Log4OM V2. I have searched my PC and not found any newer ADIF-file than this one. Apparently ver. 2.18.0.0 does not generate an ADIF-file?
Thank you for your response.

Re: Log4OMV2 ver. 2.18.0.0 cannot upload to LoTW
Peter,
I'm using the same release that you are and I've not experienced that with the LOTW adi upload file not being generated. In fact I just used it following an SST event in the past hour and I looked to ensure before I keyed this reply.
Terry or Juergen might have some additional suggestions, but seeing as how it was working in the prior release and now it does not ... maybe just redo the installation for the V2.18.0.0 and see if some toggle gets reset and the LOTW adi file then able to be created.
I've attached a screen clip of my LOTW Config settings. Before doing a reinstallation double check your choices for the Confirmations choices for LOTW. I happen to keep both my LOTW Sent & Rcvd set to "no". According to your LOTW Config screen clip you are looking for "Requested".
Maybe on a manual upload the value on your saved QSOs is not matching either a "no" or a "requested". If there is a mismatch there won't be an adi file created as it can't find a match for the QSO to then be saved for the upload.
Page 97 of the current User Guide goes over the "confirmations" settings and Page 106-107 goes into the Manual LOTW Upload steps. Make sure items in the box on Page 106 are noted to ensure they match.

Peter,
OOPS ... just noted that your QSO count was a total of "1" ... We currently ID'd a problem with adi files that contain only "1" QSO.
That has been repaired on an Alpha release we are testing.
Make sure you have more than one QSO being saved and give that a go before any reinstallations.
Here is a link to that thread and it may also impact creating an adi in this case.

Nolan,
The problem is also when I upload maybe 100 QSO's.
Do you have any news on the troubleshooting? Other users may experience the same problem?

Re: Log4OMV2 ver. 2.18.0.0 cannot upload to LoTW
Nolan,
Suddenly it works here. I have not changed anything in the Log4OM V2. I just tried once more.
See attached log file from the LoTW upload. When checking in the LoTW Temp File folder there is generated an ADIF file.
LoTW is updated now.
Best regards
Peter

Re: Log4OMV2 ver. 2.18.0.0 cannot upload to LoTW
I have installed Log4OM V2 rev. 2.19.0.0
There are still problem uploading to LoTW. Apparently it does not create an ADIF file.
It was possible (suddenly) to upload with ver 2.18.0.0 on Jan. 23. However, with 2.19.0.0 there is a problem generting the ADIF file which must contain app. 70 QSO's.
I have attached a screenshot showing the error message.

Re: Log4OMV2 ver. 2.18.0.0 cannot upload to LoTW
Peter,
Well, v2.19.0.0 resolved the LOTW upload issue that appeared in v2.18.0.0 for me anyway and all of us on the Beta and Alpha teams.
I did notice where an OM was having an issue with an ADIF Import and he then happened to do updates for his Windows O/S and that resolved his issue.
I'm only thinking of possibilities. Maybe the new .net update will help.
I've had two updates to my laptops in the past 2-3 weeks and they did include some .net updates.
Just a thought anyway.

Re: Log4OMV2 ver. 2.18.0.0 cannot upload to LoTW
Hi Nolan,
youre right. It was Charlie (DL6RDE) which has had an import problem with Wintest that´s resolved after a .NET update.
On my side LotW uploads are fine and also all imports working as they should.
