Yes, I agree, HAMQTH is not quite as current, but for the vast majority of call signs it appears to work well.
I tried to configure things such that the only data source that would be queried/used for zone lookup was CTY. I did this by disabling Primary Source, Failsafe Source and setting Web External Source to Primary Source in the Info Providers panel. Then, in the Configuration panel I set all the CQ/ITU source priorities to CTY and disabled use of Clublog database.
If the Log4OM CTY file is like AD1C's, is reasonably up to date, and it is exclusively used to determine country and zone, it seems this should have resulted in correct country and zone information for TO6S, DP1POL, AH2O..... It didn't work. It seems the CTY based lookup isn't working correctly.
I'll just continue using HAMQTH and be aware that some current DXPedition type calls may not be displayed correctly. The vast majority will be ok.
