VFO-Sync with a passive listener Device

Post by DD3ZM »

Hi,

for fullduplex Sat-Operation I use a additional Rx beside my Yaesu FT-991 TRX.
The RX also supports CAT-Control and can be configured in Log4OM.
Log4OM can sync VFO A and B of my FT-991a but it's not possible that the additional RX follows one of the FT991a-VFO's...

It's basicly possible (testet with Win4Yaesu) but I find no way to do this with Log4OM.
Maybe I have overlooked something?
Does it work somehow and if not, will it be implemented in the future?

Hi,
working with multiple rigs "on output" is something not supported by current CAT drivers (Omnirig, Hamlib..) or i don't have info about (mainly Hamlib)
Probably the Win4Yaesu instantiate a basic CAT engine that is "splitting" commands to 2 different ports, but that is made at CAT engine level, where Log4OM basically use the market standard ones
