Return to original band/mode after cluster spot

Post by k4em »

If I double click a cluster spot and go to that band/mode. How do I get back to the band/mode I was originally on quickly? For example, I was originally on 10m/SSB, I double click a spot for a station on 17m/CW, I work him. Now I want to quickly go back to 10m/SSB/Freq I was on and work the P5. How about a Alt R command to do that or a button just below the cluster screen that would do that.

Hi Dave,
Your suggestion is excellent and very useful.
When working in DX we realized how good it would be to have this functionality.
Let's see if more colleagues, have the same desire.

Adding to that, I propose another one, but this one is more complicated to implement: Turn off Split automatically.
Imagine a contact in Split, it would be good, whenever you change the frequency (> 5 Kc) or band, or if you click on a callsign on the DXCluster, the radio would turn off the split.
Of course, for this fact, it would be necessary, the user to know the command of his radio and then configure Log4Om in order it sends the right command to the radio: Split OFF, but we have a detail to think about: we use Hamlib or Omnirig and everything would have to go through here ... Is it possible? ;)
I imagine Yes becasue I have something "similar" within WSJT / JTDX.

Let´s wait for more comments.
