CROSS MODE problem: transmission frequency different from reception frequency

Post by F4GJC »

Hi,

Is it possible that when the call sign field is deleted (Backspace or Escape), the frequency and reception frequency fields will be automatically deleted.

When you click on a station in the cluster, the frequency (Freq) and reception frequency (RX Freq) fields are automatically filled.

When the call sign field is deleted, the frequency fields are not deleted.

When entering a new callsign if care is not taken to modify the two frequency fields, the callout is in CROSSMODE.

thanks in advance

this happens only if you're not connected to a CAT engine.

In that situation we choosed to keep the frequency set by the user and don't clean up the data, or if you're calling on a fixed frequency you're required to set, everytime, the frequency for each QSO. According to the fact we don't know if you're moving along the frequency or calling from a fixed frequency, we choosed to keep frequency so we can cover at least 50% of the options.

Do you have a smarter suggestion for that?
Thanks
