Feature request: Sorting columns - scroll to selected QSO

Post by KZ3L »

Anywhere Log4OM provides an option to sort by a column by clicking the name of the header, it would be very beneficial to automatically scroll to the position of the currently-selected QSO once the sorting has been executed.

For example, if my selected QSO is on a specific callsign (K1ABC), when I click on the callsign header to sort it, I'd like the table to scroll to that callsign (more specifically, the QSO I've selected) so I can see them all grouped together.

Most often this is the main reason for sorting anyway--to group and look for QSOs with similar characteristics (references, bands, modes, dates/times, states, DXCC, etc.). Having to potentially scroll through thousands of QSOs to get there is an extra unnecessary step.

IMHO this is one of those intuitive things that a user would expect, but the interface doesn't currently work that way.
