DXCC AWARD

Post by in3vvk »

Hi, I think there are problems with the DXCC statistics. I did some tests as follows: I tried for example to modify a confirmed country with LOTW and QSL by putting NO confirmation. As a rule this should then appear in the unconfirmed DXCC list but it isn't. I always see it confirmed even if I run Rescan Award Reference. Why ?

Ciao Paolo,

Changing the LoTW or QSL confirmed status does not necessarily change the validated/granted sttus of a QSO. If you synchronise with LoTW, the validated status will be set automatically.

You can easily check this yourself.

Open your VI0AI QSO, click on the “Award Refs.” tab and click on the DXCC entry on the left side. On the right sight you can verify the validated/granted status. If you uncheck the checkbox(es) and save the changes, this will reflect in the DXCC awards overview.

I would not recommend to do any changes in the status if you sync automatically with LoTW and/or eQSL to be sure everything is in-sync.

Hope this helps.
