SIOTA - Silos On the Air Award

Post by vk1di »

I've created an award template for SIOTA - Silos On The Air. It reads the SIG_INFO field to find Silo QSOs
Attached SIOTA.zip. The award website is https://www.silosontheair.com/home

Malcom,

First off I want to extend my TNX to Ian for building this Award and also updating the added References. That is most appreciated Ian. TU ...

Malcom - First d/l the zip file and save to your local SSD or HDD in a folder where you might have other awards saved.
Unzip the SIOTA.XML file that is inside and note where you have unzipped and stored the SIOTA.xml file.

Then ... Turn on Log4OM and go to: Utilities / Award Manager

Then go to: File / Import Award

You will then direct that window to where you have unzipped and saved the SIOTA.xml file. Left click once on the file and let it import into Award Manager.

If you scroll down in the Available Awards Column you will note the SIOTA award (with a green square) and you are now set to go.

Once you have that accomplished go to: Settings / Configuration / Award Preferences

You will see the newly loaded in SIOTA award in the right column and you need to left-click on SIOTA and move it to the left column. Then ... tap "Save and apply". Once you do that you should see the SIOTA award in your Award drop-down list.
