Hello
this is exactly what I did but it does not change anything the RAC award is not registered in the QSO so here it does not change anything when calculating the RAC award ...

Hello
I just did the tests again, just like you Terry
1) with Update the QSOs are well modified with STATE = AB 2) I do "rebuild Stats" and I look at the RAC award and well
I don't have an ALBERTA in my Award table. I believe that there is something to do that I do not do because the Award table is not updated here

Re: When can we modify an Award
Dan,
I've been having issues with my RAC Awards as well, but have not quite spent the time you have debugging so this thread is quite helpful/interesting to me.
How is your column #3 (Reference Group) being filled?
I only have VO1-VO2 noted for Newfoundland-Labrador and can't figure out where that value is coming from. All the other provinces are blank.
I did take the time to manually add the RAC Award ... one QSO at a time. A bit of a PIA. No data in the Comment of Note fields to scan from so am not anxious to wipe and then rescan the RAC award.

Re: When can we modify an Award
Hello
I have the exact same thing ... We find VO1-VO2 because that's what is by default in the definition of this award :
I think there is a problem with at least this Award but I'm not sure
It wasn't me who made a mistake.
Thank you Nolan for thinking about this Pb.
It's not serious or urgent, I'm just trying to understand how it works, because here in France I am asked this kind of question and I do not know how to answer so I try to do the manipulations to try to understand if this is a problem with me or if it is a problem with log4OM.
Happy New Year Nolan and 73

Re: When can we modify an Award
For information,
if I add the corresponding RAC Award by hand in a QSO, it works, Log4OM takes it into account It's the relationship between the State (or the comment field) and the RAC Award that doesn't work.
But in view of Terry's explanations, I tested several possibilities.
Normally RAC is a REFERENCE type Award so it takes into account the Comment field and not the State field and in this Comment field we must put the name ALBERTA and not AB; well if I understood. :_)
But I tested these possibilities and it does not change anything.
By comparison if I put AD-01 in the Comment field of a Russian station; Log4OM takes it directly into account as an RDA.
The RDA and RAC Awards are both REFERENCE type ...
