Printing labels

Post by ka5y »

Thinking about trying the software, was wondering if it has support for the Brother QL-700 label printer?

Thanks Tex

So i don't see why it would not work with a QL700 :)

AIUI, label printing is going to be more refined in v2.
I cannot wait. I am a lazy sod so have just started to write nearly 1000 paper QSLs. Making good progress but I would love to be able to produce really nice labels from Log4OM. Getting a quality label printer would be icing on the cake as I like buying stuff like this.

I can now confirm that roll printer support is working fine with my Brother QL 570 and will be included in the next release.

For UK users this printer is currently on special offer at Amazon UK as are the 38x90 mm DK labels

Terry, can you post an example of the output?

When I last looked at Log4OM's label printing capabilities, I was disappointed at the lack of customisation. Has this been tweaked too?

Cheers

You can customise just about any label type using the "Label design" facility

Attached are two examples of label output, one for Avery 7160 21 labels per sheet A4 stationery and the other for the roll printers like my Brother QL570

Hi Terry,

Thanks for the pics. I would like to have more control of the label printing and make it look nicer and bigger. I would like something that looks like the back of a QSL card. It would be nice to include graphics of clubs for example.

The label feature in v2 is slated to be much more customisable.

Cheers
