Adding support for a rig

Post by M6VMO »

Hi,
I am fairly inexperienced in HF, only just bought my first HF rig today, so forgive my ignorance.
Also, if I posted in the wrong thread, feel free to move this topic.

My question is: would it be possible to add the XIEGU G1M GCORE to the list of supported rigs in CAT control, or is there any compatible radio in the list?

Thank you in advance for any helpful information.

Log4OM don´t have an own list of radios. We are using Hamlib and/or Omnirig for CAT control.
You may check the Hamlib or Omnirig download sites to find a rigfile for your Xiegu or check
the transceivers manual for the CAT connection. My G90 using the Icom IC-7100 CAT protocol
and he works fine with Log4OM and others like WSJT-X/JTDX. I´m using Omnirig.
73´s .. Juergen ... ALT-512 SDR (10W) , 50 m random wire at SG-211 autotuner, 2 x Xiegu G90 (20W HF TRX) one as portable Radio. Also TS-790E (40 W) for VHF/UHF with X-50 vertical and Duoband 4-Element LPDA.
