I can connect and control the transceiver.
However, when I manually tune the radio, there is partial feedback to the s/w and I get the following error message: "Radio does not answer to calls. Retry ?"
The CAT is than disconnected and I need to close and open the connection again to enable control.

Re: CAT issues with ICOM IC-7100
My 7100 is in daily use and working perfectly so check the following
1. Have you installed the latest firmware update on the 7100 - VERY IMPORTANT
2. Are the Icom/silicon labs com ports installed properly
3. Use Omnirig, Hamlib is useless for all my Icom radios
4. Ensure that you use the latest version of Omnirig version 1.16
5. Download the latest Omnirig rig files and use the file IC-7100e4
6. Ensure that you are using Log4om version 1.23 which supports the dual VFO display

THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR FAST AND EFFECTIVE RESPONSE !!
I installed OmniRig 1.16 and it works great.
Thanks again for excellent software than other than coffee does almost everything I need.
OK.. still missing integrated digital mode.

Yep... it's a "major enhancement" that require a bit of more work
Using "classic" digital mode engines will not add much innovation on the market
