Folks,
Trying to configure direct logging from WSJTx to Log4OM using the new UDP functionality but have questions. I've had JTAlert doing it for me for almost 2 years - time to take advantage of Log4OM and remove a process.
Using 1.40 here.
In Communicator>STOP>Settings>Inbound>Inbound Settings
TCP Connection for incoming QSO = checked and Port is 2236
ADIF File Polling = Check Enable file monitor (then point it to the WSJTx ADIF file)
Starting Position = ????? <<<< this is my question - not sure how to handle this. Can someone point me to some baseline info on this, just not sure what to do??
Is this the STARTING LINE Number of the ADIF file that I want it to begin on OR a position on a single line?
If I'm missing something else in the setup to accomplish this, please let me know.
Thanks!
Greg

Re: WSJTx dire t log via UDP to Log4OM - questions
The starting line number is a number of characters
So to start at the beginning of a file insert zero
So to start at the beginning of a file insert zero

OK Terry - thanks for the follow-up. Still having some issues but this is resolved - will post another note later.
