PTT Delay

Hi, new user trying to figure things out. I have an IC7800 and using MicroHam USB III sound card interface. The MicroHam runs through their software that creates virtual com ports. I have Log4OM running Omnirig, talking to FLdigi. Everything works as it should except PTT. The PTT is controlled by software. When I click on a macro in Fldigi in CW mode, 1 or 2 characters show up on the the screen befor the rig goes into TX and there is a 2-3 second delay after text before the Rig goes to RX. Same for RTTY. This dosn't happen running FLDIGI. I think this is a Omnirig problem. Any one have any suggestions.

Change the polling rate in Omnirig to 100

Thanks Terry, I changed to polling rate and it is a lot better. FLDIGI gives you the choice of Com port for PTT or software.
