I know the team is hard at work on v2.0
Is there / was there any info shared on an approximate time when it might be released?

Daniele has been extremely busy with his day job along with a tad of vacation with his family. There has been no, to my knowledge, talk of a release date for V2. He'll do the best he can as we all know.

I'm taking all the time to add/fix/optimize the new code in order to have a reliable Platform.
The main goal is to have a couple of "background events" that will keep all informations up-to-date (statistics and so on) in-memory to be able to reduce code loops at the minimum level.
Also i'm providing some interesting in/out doors to external connections to allow Log4OM being useable as "Platform" from other softwares that could benefit of a shared log system.
But this requires a bit of time... i've already rewrote some code twice because i wasn't so happy of the result (too much complex or too slow).
Sometimes the "best practices" and the "perfect programming" drives to a lot of code and poor performances
