You are comparing an old QSO from November 2016 to a later QSO with the same person dated February 2017, we don't know the origin of the older QSO, it could have been generated in another software and imported into Log4OM with the incorrect distance.

We don't recalculate the distances on imported or even old QSO's before displaying them! The calculation is done at the time the QSO is logged and the calculation uses the grid reference of both stations to derive the correct distance.

Alternatively you will probably find that either your grid reference or the grid reference of G7ARK was incorrectly set or not set at all for the older QSO which would cause an incorrect calculation.

There are many reasons for this difference but the least likely is that Log4OM incorrectly calculated it, because Log4OM only uses the information provided by you and the other station lookup to do the calculation.

Hello!

Thank you very much... you're 100% right. These entries are imported from HRD.. Now I have recalculated the distance/bearing with the QSO-Manager... all fine!

Thanks for your great work!
I previously used HRD, but I will never go back ;-)
