Good morning guys,
but only I have this "problem" or is it normal, having the icon of the COMMUNICATOR in the taskbar and also in the systray?
I would like, when minimized and active in background, to have it only in the systray and not also in the taskbar ..
Does this work just a problem on my computer, or can it be implemented in the next update?
Solutions?
THANK YOU..

Re: Log4Om Communicator in Systray
Hi Angelo,
that was always so that there is a Symbol in the Taskbar and the Systray. For me it´s fine as it is.
If i will check something in the communicator i need only one klick in the taskbar and i don´t must
open the systray popup and klicking on the communicator symbol.

Not a solution but a workaround is the use of the tiny program "RBTray", can be found at SourceForge and is only 45Kb big.
It can minimize almost any program / window to the system-tray, i use it to get the communicator out of my way. Works excellent.
Start it (automatically if you want) and right click the minimize button of the window and it is gone

Tnx for answer!
I was hoping there was a solution, or it could be a suggestion for a next update.
Sincerely, it have not sense to have both the icon in the taskbar and in the systray! I prefer to have it only in the systray and open it when needed!
Tnx again, 73!

Re: Log4Om Communicator in Systray
Interesting only in that many (repeat: many) apps I use show up in both locations when the app is alive and operating. Not a big deal from what I've observed over the years.

This may help those that don't like the notifications displayed in the taskbar
https://help.aol.co.uk/articles/how-do- ... ystem-tray
You can also unpin items from the taskbar
I don't really understand why it's an an issue !
