First of all: Log4OM v2 is GREAT! You did a perfect job, it runs faster and many features of the programm are easier and self explanatory now. Thanks for the great development!
Here is my question:
After answering my incoming paper-QSLs I like to update the QSL sent status from "queued" to "yes" (after ADIF export).
I may have missed something, but just can't find a field named "QSL sent" in the "update QSO" tab of QSO manager.
QSO manager does not allow to update "QSL sent" or "QSL received" fields

Chris,
Take a look at QSL Manager for make a change as you have noted. It might work out for you.
As you can see from my screen clip I've not updated my recent calls for "QSL" cards yet either.
You can select one or two to "test" before you do an entire batch.

Why are you exporting the ADIF file?DL4FO wrote: 31 Jan 2020, 23:08 First of all: Log4OM v2 is GREAT! You did a perfect job, it runs faster and many features of the programm are easier and self explanatory now. Thanks for the great development!

Re: QSO manager does not allow to update "QSL sent" or "QSL received" fields
Hi Terry,
thanks for asking. I need the ADIF file to upload it at globalqsl.com or qsl.ure.es to have the cards printed there.
(Hardworking people write their cards by hand, I know....)
I just wanted to know if there is a reason why QSO manager does not allow bulk changes of all fields in Log4OM v2.
I can sure find other ways to do that, no problem.

----------
This is the way I used to handle incoming paper QSL:
1. Search for the QSO with QSL manager. Find out if my QSL has been sent or not.
2. In case my card has not been sent yet:
Update selected QSO to "QSL received: YES" and
"QSL sent: QUEUED"
3. After all QSLs are updated,
use QSO manager to sort the log by "QSL sent" column.
4. Select all "QUEUED" and have them exported as one ADIF file.
5. Upload this file to a QSL printing service like GlobalQSL.
6. Finally change all "QUEUED" to "YES" using QSO manager.
This last step does not work in V2.

OK so now I understand here is the explanation of how and why.DL4FO wrote: 01 Feb 2020, 12:19This is the way I used to handle incoming paper QSL:

Mark Queued
First mark the required QSO's 'Queued' using the QSL manager as in the post above, this is similar to your old method.
Question
Why dont we include the QSL sent status in the QSL/QSO manager filters?, and in similar manner to other apparently missing fields?, is because we included a superior method.
Filtering Queued and export to ADIF
In your example now go to the QSO Manager/Filters window and select the 'Confirmations' tab as below, select as shown.
When you close the filter window it will filter those 'Queued' - Now select the OQS's required for the ADIF file and click 'Export to ADIF'
Mark Queued as Sent= Yes
Go back to the QSL Manager and select fields as in the image below then click 'Select/Deselect' at the bottom, lastly click the floppy disk 'Save' Icon to update
Job done!

Re: QSO manager does not allow to update "QSL sent" or "QSL received" fields
Terry,
really great!!! Thanks for the quick and helpful support. It worked 100% this way and is even easier than my oldfashioned method.
Makes me feel like I purchased a 500 $ software with 25/7 online support

And all this happening on the day after brexit - unbelieveable!
Thank you very much.

Because version 2 is a completely different concept it will take some time for users to adapt, I know it did me because I was thinking V1 when using V2
It's very hard at first to get used to the different operating ways and I am sure we will continue to find omissions and issues for some time to come.
As for Brexit! I am just waiting for the pain Europe will inflict on us for our impudence in opposing them.
