Downloading my log onto PC

Post by G0VQY »

I had an issue with HRD on my other PC and I ended up having to reset the computer. I've had to reinstall HRD so I now have a fresh copy without a logbook. However, I have my complete logbook installed on this computer in Log4OM. However, I can't work out how to download the ADIF that I can then install into HRD and re-establish my logbook.

It's okay, it was right on my nose.

Okay, I've downloaded my logbook but it appears to be a different format to what you use in HRD. Is it possible to take the database from log4om and import it into Ham Radio Deluxe. I know that when I first installed this program, I took the database from HRD and imported it with no problem

Export an ADIF file and import that into HRD

All sorted, I now have an up-to-date log installed on HRD on the other computer.

Why not use the same software program on both computers and a common database so that it all automatically synchronises ?
