Hi
I just worked a station on JTDX and because the link to L4OM was not working, it did not log. So I went to LazyLog.
When I open it, ther is always a QSO showing in the right box, that I want to erase, so I start from scratch.
I have tried F12, but that erases whaever I have entered in the left box.
So how doi I start from scratch ?
LazyLog
Re: LazyLog
Paul,
This is not a QSO, these are the values that will be applied once you enter a QSO.
Entered QSOs appear in the white field below. Enter some data to find out how it works. As long as you don't save, nothing will be added to the database. Hope this helps.

Re: LazyLog
Thanks for the reply
I still do not understand ... The QSO on the right will be the base for the forst QSO I enter. Even if I enter a different mode, the QSO will be logged with the mode as shown there.
If I want to enter only 1 QSO, how do I save it ?
A youtube video tutorial about how to use LazyLog would be a great idea ? Any volunteer ?

Paul,
Starting on Page 37 of the User Guide dated: 09/11/2020 4:28 PM is a very good description and list of entry commands.
Take the time to read that portion, do you testing and see if that helps.
I'm confident that you have been downloading and keeping up to date with the "most current" User Guide.
Here is a link to a post I did quite some time ago about keeping current with the User Guide.

Nolan
Thanks for your reply.
Yes, I have downloaded the latest version of the manual, and I have read the LazyLog portion.
Yes I have read the commands.
But no, there is no procedure explained on how to use LazyLog.
Every time I have played with it trying to familiarize myself with it, the first QSO going to the log has the wrong info.
Hence my question on how to start from scratch...
As simple as that.

Re: LazyLog
Hello
I want to modify these values !
When I enter a QSO with all the fields, the time remains unchanged, and is the current one. LazyLog is supposed to be offline logging, so how do I get rid of that time (and other fiçrlds like band, mode, etc) ?
As you can see on the attachment picture, I have changed the time to 080000 (left screen), but it remains as 081800 (right screen). Same for mode, band... (reports don't show...)
Can someone explain the procedure better please ?

Re: LazyLog
Use
d20201113 for the date
H091734 for the time
StationCall G4POP for YOUR call sign
StatioGrid JO01jp for YOUR grid reference
I am sure that you can now work out the RST, Mode, TX & RX Band, YOUR Ref from the detailed chart on pages 38 and 39 of the user guide
Of course use the applicable information not the examples here

Re: LazyLog
Never used LazyLog b4 so i don´t have any old paperlog to fill in. Testing it while using the
commands in the HELP screen and it´s simple and easy.

Re: LazyLog
Hi
Thanks for replies.
I am sorry, it still does not work !
Can I erase the data in the black screen ? I just cannot change the band and mode when I add a QSO.
When entering the data, is a space required for example after H : should it be entered H080000 (as shown by Terry) or H 080000 as shown in the manual ?
Should Enter be pressed after each field ? Or all data of the QSO entered in one line, and then Enter ?
See attached.
I started just opening the LazyLog screen, typed what you can see on the left, and the enqueued QSO is incorrect with time, mode.
What am I doing wrong ?
Terry, any chance you make a video ?
