Setting filters via CIV commands

Post by Wo2t »

I'm trying to figure out how to use the Omni Rig CIV address to set radio digital modes and filters during band changes. I'm running an Icom 7600.

WSJT and MixW at times. I think that I can modify the .ini in Omni Rig. I think I just need to find the numerical for filter 1, filter 2, USB-D, ECT. I'm running Omni Rig 1.9.

No need to modify

Make sure that you use the Omnirig IC7600v2 Data ini file

Follow the set up instructions in our user guide for WSJT

Now when you change bands in WSJT it will auto select USB-D

Works fine for me on 7600 and 7300

I fooled around with OmniRig 7600v.2. What I find is that If a select a FT8 freq. the 7600 goes to CW-R.
Could someone send me clean Rig file for the 7600 for comparison.

Thanks!

OM,

You can get the ini files directly from DXAtlas at this URL: http://www.dxatlas.com/Download.asp

Go to that link and scroll down to the section labeled OmniRig. The current INI zip was updated on 11/02/2020.
