I went to check out the Back up video tutotrial but there is no video.Right now I am saving the .adi files which I feel are the most important. But I am saving the .Json files and the .SQlite data base.Do I need all 3 files backed up daily?I am used to program configuration files from using other programs, but was confused on the difference between .QSlite and .Json files. In the manual it says the .SQLite files are only needed if saving to a larger data base when contesting so I may not need that, but in the program it shows the directory going to that file.So I am not sure of the .json files which are the database files.I thought the .json files hold all the information settings of the program, but unclear if I am correct.

Re: What files to save for backup
You are overthinking this!
1. Providing your database has less than 120,000 QSO's then SQLITE database is fine (For larger databases of special DX work only then would you require a MYSQL database)
2. If you use the included backup system ALL of the necessary files are saved automatically, you do not need to choose which to save (Log4OM backups save an ADIF file of your database and your configuration)
As ever follow the instructions in the Log4OM user guide

Re: What files to save for backup question update
I should of explained better.Would I save all 3 files to a back up drive?--.adi.json and .sqlite?I assume .adi, but what about the other 2?Are the configurations files for the program .json or .sqlite?I looked in the Manuel but didn't find enough about it or least what explained this.So if I had a serious hard drive issue and lost everything,I would want to restore the important files.Again I believe the .adi would give at least the essentials
Thanks for help

Re: What files to save for backup
The built in Log4om backup saves?........
1. The complete ADIF file containg your complete logbook info including awards and confirmation
2. A CONFIG file which contains all the information about your set up including user names and passwords for LOTW, EQSL, QRZ, HAMQTH, CLUBLOG and HRDLOG - all alert settings, net control and email settings - cluster set up, station info, hardware like radio and antennas etc etc etc
Just set up your backup destinations sensibly and I suggest one should be in the cloud
Feel free to save every file created by Log4om but I can assure you that the Log4om backup has covered all eventualities
