JTAlert - New Version

Post by CT1BXX »

Hi
A basic question I know, but not to take risks, I prefer to hear the opinion of the most experienced.
The new version of JTAlert requires installation of .NET 5 , while log4om .NET 4.7.2
I'm in doubt if the update will cause any embarrassment for Log4om. I image not but in case... :x

Have you already installed the last JTAlert version?
I also have the Gridtracker installed, but JTAlert seems simpler to me, I think I still haven't understood well how it works or how to put the DXCC per band, a fact that in JTALert it looks simpler despite being poorer visually.
Thanks for your comments :)

Log4OM 2.13

Log4OM always uses the latest version of .net so it should not cause an issue.

Anyway your probably already using a version later than 4.7 if you use windows auto update

I use JTAlert 2.50.1 and WSJT-X 2.4.0. I installed .net 5 some time ago, and had no problems. Make certain you use 32 bit or 64 bit, depending on your computer, and whether your JTAlert is 32 bit or 64 bit.
