Omnilib version 1 vs 2

So, another newbie question.

Log4om seems to connect to CAT and omnilib with version 1x not with version 2x. And yes, everything is running in administrator mode. With omnilib 1x, the CAT button turns green and one can open the omnilib configuration interface but neither of those things happens with omnilib v2.

Ideas?

Not sure what "Omnilib" is as (best I'm aware) there is not such an animal.

I'm thinking you have combined the Omnirig name with the Hamlib name.

Omnirig and Hamlib are two of the CAT options that work within Log4OM.

Now ... you have also noted a V2 and likely related to Omnirig. That being the case ... REMOVE V2 of Omnirig from you computer. It will not work with Log4OM. It is a derivative of the original Omnirig written by Alex (ve3nea) and the current version of that original package is: V 1.20

The offshoot version of Omnirig is labeled at V2 something or other and is assembled by an OM in Switzerland. It has many problems and does not work with Log4OM.

So ... focus on the original Omnirig V 1.20 and you will be in good shape.
